Petition
We, the undersigned, fully support the application to award Wellington Hill Playing Field, Bristol Village Green Status to ensure that it stays available for use by all members of the local and wider community into the future. We urge Bristol City Council to support this application in recognition of the response to the Area Green Space Plan which resulted in the field being withdrawn from the list of sites for sale.
Background information
In our opinion, Wellington Hill Playing Field has been used by members of the local community, including a wide range of young peoples organisations and groups (which could not continue to run without access to this crucial open space), local families and other residents without restriction for more than 50 years.
