Petition

We demand that the council extend the Banksy vs Bristol Museum exhibition after the 31st of August so that all of Bristol's citizens (including the elderly, disabled and families with young children) get the opportunity to visit this iconic event.

Background information

Demand for the Banksy exhibition has been unprecedented and it is an event that will define this decade. Yet many people are being denied the possibility of attending because of the length of the queue.

We understand that the museum has organised another exciting exhibition from the Hayward Gallery for display in September. However given these unique circumstances we feel that the Hayward exhibition could be housed in another of Bristol's museums. If relocation was not possible we accept that we would have to forgo the Hayward exhibition in favour of the Banksy one.
