The Petitioner believes the billboards sorrounding the mini roundabout linking Mina Rd, York St, and James Street in the St. Werburghs area should be removed.

Background information

The 6 billboards currently in place at the roundabout lower the visual amenity of the area and may distract drivers, raising safety issues. Billboards should be confined to motorways, not residential areas. Trees or shrubs would be far more attractive in their place. This petition calls upon the council to remove these ugly prominences to improve the visual aspect of the area.
