Petition
The Petitioner asks Bristol City Council to turn down planning appication 08/03176/F on the ground that they will remove well loved trees in the area of the old tennis courts in Packers Field.
Background information
The council planning meeting is on the 24th. of this month.
The City Academy based in Easton have place a planning application into the council. As part of this application they wish to remove all the trees along side the old tennis courts in Parkers Field.
We ask that the council turn this application down or change the application to save the trees, trees that have be part of the lives of local people of years. We note that Bristol City Council have led for years the fight to keep any trees that are going to be removed in planning appications, and hope that again they will keep doing this!
