Signature information

We the undersigned call on the Mayor to use the power and influence that the Mayoral role entails to work with the relevant rail authorities to ensure that the reopening of St Anne's station is included as part of a sustainable, integrated transport policy.

Background information

To raise awareness of the need for a rail link in the Brislington/St Anne's area of Bristol, that has, historically, been poorly served by public transport.
It is an ideal link for many who find their working lives blighted by congestion, and will bring material benefits not only in time for those using the station, but in air quality for all residents.
