Improved safety for pedestrians crossing Easton Road through the introduction of traffic calming measures and a zebra crossing.

Background information

Easton Road is a heavily trafficked and very dangerous road in Central Bristol. Hundreds of children and their parents have to cross this road to attend local schools, nurseries, adult education centres and other local amenities. Yet there is no zebra crossing or other traffic calming measures. Women studying ESOL with The local charity SPAN at the Silai Centre have taken the initiative to start this campaign to increase the safety for pedestrians on Easton Road. Please show them your support by signing this petition.
