Bristol's e-petitions website has been running since September 2004 when it was piloted through the Local eDemocracy National Project with software and support from the International Teledemocracy Centre at Napier University.
Bristol's website was relaunched in January 2008 in partnership with Public i to provide an open source solution and better integration with other e-democracy tools.
